[Dixielandjazz] Information wanted

Larry,

I just went through licensing my Dr. Jazz band's CD in Israel, and they
required us to print on the cover AND on the disk the title, composer and
lyricist of each tune and the players. In this case, the players were me and
my guys, but I should think that some similar requirement is in place for
re-issuing historic recordings. Otherwise, that's yet another service that
ASCAP and their ilk might have provided us, but they don't. Anyone know if
this info is required to be printed on the CDs or in the jackets somewhere?

By the way, did I mention Dr Jazz has a CD for sale -- newly re-released
from a glass master?

Subject: [Dixielandjazz] Information wanted

Recently purchased on-line, and new, a 10-CD set "It's Louis Armstrong"....
Problem is that there is ZERO information, save the title of the tune, for
each track.

Would like to know recording date and names of side-people. Sydney Bechet?
Lil
Hardin? Baby Dodds? Who knows?
