Hi ALL...! (and Happy  Birthday, Don!)

AND if you want a REAL challenge on Mack the Knife, try doing it like Bobby
Darren did...
Start in Bb and go up chromatically to end in Eb.  That REALLY makes it
interesting AND challenging...
Yeah, the Three Penny Opera closed in 1933, but then was revived in the
50's either on or off Broadway (not positive which..)
AND Kurt Weill's (composer) wife Lotte Lenya starred in BOTH productions!!!
If you're old enough to remember the Ernie Kovaks show - the original
number was played (with German lyrics) to the visual accompniment of an
oscilliscope!
and it was definitely NOT the swinging version as done later by Darren.
