Also, Evan Christopher will be at our Sancy Snow Jazz Festival in Le
Mont Dore (about an hour south of Clermont-Ferrand) on Feb. 20 & 22. He
will play with the Guillaume Nouaux Quintet. (See
http://sancy-snowjazz.com/gauche_groupe.php?id_groupe=88).  Their line
up is :

Guillaume Nouaux (drums) - a fine plays-all-styles drummer that played
with Bob Ringwald some years back for Molly's wedding;
Jérôme Etcheberry (trumpet) - excellent all around player. He is
current trumpet man with the Haricots Rouges and is first trumpet with
the Tuxedo Big Band of Toulouse (on the Arbors label);
Benoit De Flamesnil (trombone) - has played with almost every big and
small group of note in France;
Sebastian Girardot (bass) - an Aussie that has taken Paris by storm.
Excellent drive;
Pierre Le Bot (piano) - To be honest, I don't know Pierre, but I'm sure
he must know how to play.
Evan Christopher - what more is there to say.

For anyone free Feb. 18-25, Sancy Snow Jazz is a lot of good fun. The
jazz takes place in the bistros and restaurants of Mont Dore. All
venues are intimate. Unfortunately, there are only a couple of dance
floors. All concerts are free (with the exception of two galas)

All the best, Gary
