[Dixielandjazz] Blues Over Bodega

Just a few words about a new CD in my collection.

I just picked up a CD at my local used CD dealer. It was "Blues Over Bodega"
by Lu Watters Jazz Band. I can only rave about how good this album is. It's
hard to pick a favorite but I thing for me it would have to be "Some of
These Days" which concludes with a vocal by Barbara Dane. As they say in
today's parlance - it rocks.

This is the best recording by Lu Watters including the earlier "Complete Lu
Watters & the Yerba Buena Jazz Band". It simply sparkles.

I don't know if "Blues Over Bodega" is still in the Good Time Jazz catalog.
If it is, give it a listen.

I just wish I'd had the opportunity to hear the band live.
