As for our band, the music is best when there is an audience, however 
small.
In fact, better in a small jazz club than in a large concert hall.

  I would agree, as long as they are there to listen.  When they are 
there to dance, you are in a different ball game.  How about a Cha Cha? 
Do you guy's know "tie a yellow ribbon...," how about...?  What is 
nice, is a small room, an enthusiastic hip audience, and you get to 
play.  We love playing Three Rivers for that reason.
