A wonderful thread! My first contribution:

A posh private party. A beautiful tent was setup over a pond in the garden 
of a bungalow.
I went to the bar and asked for two beers. When I had them in my hands one 
of the guests,
knowing I was a band member-wearing a tuxedo- grabbed the beers out of my 
hands, saying
"thank you for getting my beers". A few minutes later the same person came 
back to the bar
where I was standing. I extended my leg and he ended up in the pond. Never 
knew what hit him.
Wonderful gig!
