I use the lite version that comes free with Sibelius and have a reasonable
amount of success. Which version are you talking about? I haven't
got the very latest V4, but I the latest V3.

Mine will scan several pages with no problem. It does have some
limitations, but the only one that really hits me is that it
doesn't recognise triplets.

It will cope with treble and bass parts for piano and join them,
but it wont handle multiple instruments.

It is dependent on how good the original is. You can improve
things by how you do the scan, but sometimes it just can't
cope. I doubt the full pro version would be any better though.

I think the only difference between the lite & pro is what it will
recognise, not how well it recognises.

The lite version does recognise multiple bar rests sometimes, but
it is relatively easy to edit/add these later. It is best to do
it before you export to Sibelius though.

The lite version doesn't read chord symbols, but I find these
easy to add later in Sibelius

If you want any more information then perhaps we should have
an off-list discussion along with others like Craig.
