[Dixielandjazz] LA Area Jazz Meet 4/9/06

This Sunday (4/9/06) the South Bay New Orleans Jazz Club meets 12:30 to 5:00 
PM  at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 224 1/2 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Manhattan 
Beach, CA.   The feature this month is Fiddle, Sticks & Ivory Plus;  the fiddle 
(a great big one) is Pat Palmer on bass; the sticks is Bill Shaw , drums; the 
ivory is Mary Smith, piano and the plus are Bob Danis, trumpet and Lew White, 
trombone.  We heard this group last Sunday at the Valley Jazz Club, and they 
kept a large crowd very happy.

There is a large dance floor, good food and a full bar.  Admission $8, 
members $6, performing musicians $1.
