[Dixielandjazz] Help a brother out

I started playing trumpet about 40 years ago - did the usual gigs, blew out my lip, all the good things - then I gave it up to do other things. An old friend had me finally playing a Bach 3C, because he said I could control it more, and it hasn't let me down. So my question is, what is the best way to get back in playing shape? I never did nor probably ever will do the high notes, but my styling is still pretty good - kinda Bobby Hackett-ish. I'll be glad to listen to any pieces of advice, cause you guys are the best. You can reply off-list - that way, we won't clog up Bob's pipes :-)
