Hi John:

Is that anything like driving on the correct side of the road?? :))

I guess we lost a lot in the translation into English huh? or maybe
into Amurrikun as they say in Texas.

Or perhaps Ashes , Ashes is Ebonics, if so it stated a long long time
before they invented ebonics

I heard it that was in elementary school and it is still taught that
way in these parts to day.

Cheers,

Tom Wiggins

Subject: [Dixielandjazz] Roses

Tom Wiggins quoted an old English folk song :

"Ring around the rosies
pocket full of posies"

Which more correctly should read :

Ring-a-ring-a-roses,
A pocketful of posies,
A-tishoo, a-tishoo,
We all fall down.

Just wanted to demonstrate that I am an unacknowledged expert in such
matters.
