I think Bob Romans was merely passing along some Haiku which had been
composed by others.
Steve, however, challenged Bob to compose a verse dedicated to a particular
theme (the starving dixieland musician).
I'll offer a few adventures into the genre if you'll permit me:
I come here to play.
The gig don't pay very much -
Wish I could buy lunch!
I'd lke a big meal.
Perhaps if I blew my horn . . .
Not very likely!
Dixieland music
Doesn't get me the big bucks.
Maybe I'll try rap.
I'd like a big meal . . .
You can take your big meal and
Shove it up your (beep)
Note to Steve Barbone . . .
Want a Japanese poem?
Write your own Haiku!
How do I get hooked
On writing stupid verses?
Need to get a life!
Respectfully submitted,
