I'm listening to Kenny Ball's "Midnight In Moscow" LP as I write this...just finished High Society...WHO was the clarinet player on that cut??? That has to be the hottest version I've ever heard of that tune!
Is Kenny Ball still playing? When Cell Block 7 was in Edinburgh in '92, his room was right next to mine, but our schedules made it impossible for me to meet him, dammit! Someone said his health was bad...that FAST 4 beat band of his was absolutely great!
I'm playing High Society  again...and again!
