I just checked out their demo. They sound pretty nice. Unfortunately, the
recording does not do them justice. It sounds like the guitar is right in
front of the microphone and they are a few feet behind him. I find this an
all too common fault in modern recording. The vocals are buried in the
music. Give me a 78 any day.

WE HAVE A TOWN FILLING UP WITH NEW ORLEANS TRADITIONAL JAZZ, AND SOME
OF IT THEY EVEN CALL DIXIELAND, AND NOW THIS???
THE PREACHER'S AND PROPHET'S OF OKOM ON THIS LIST HAVE BEEN PROPHESYING
IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS, BUT NOBODY BELIEVED IT. EXCEPT FOR THE BANDS THAT
ARE SLIPPING INTO THE BIG CITIES AGAIN KNOCKING ON THE DOORS AND
GETTING THE GIGS.
Like I always say, there are always good gigs for good acts, and folks
who will pay to see and hear them too.
Hope some of you S.F. Bay Area folks get off the couch and go catch
this act. That's how you support OKOM and preserve it and spread the
word and make it REVIVE to the next generations.
Cheers,
Tom Wiggins
