WE HAVE A TOWN FILLING UP WITH NEW ORLEANS TRADITIONAL JAZZ, AND SOME
OF IT THEY EVEN CALL DIXIELAND, AND NOW THIS???

THE PREACHER'S AND PROPHET'S OF OKOM ON THIS LIST HAVE BEEN PROPHESYING
IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS, BUT NOBODY BELIEVED IT. EXCEPT FOR THE BANDS THAT
ARE SLIPPING INTO THE BIG CITIES AGAIN KNOCKING ON THE DOORS AND
GETTING THE GIGS.

Like I always say, there are always good gigs for good acts, and folks
who will pay to see and hear them too.

Hope some of you S.F. Bay Area folks get off the couch and go catch
this act. That's how you support OKOM and preserve it and spread the
word and make it REVIVE to the next generations.

Cheers,

Tom Wiggins

Portland's The Stolen Sweets perform the arrangements of the Boswell
Sisters, one of the most popular girl groups of the 1920s and 30s.
Equipped with Portland notable Pete Krebs, the sextet will transport
you back to a time of flappers and bootlegging! www.stolensweets.com
