Mike, this is what we have worked out on a Spanish label.  They put the
thing out in the shops, etc.  Promotion?  Well, not much!  I have seen a
whole wall of the CD area in one of the big department stores covered with
one of our CD's once, though.  (I think they probably bought more than they
should have!!)  It was fun to see, anyway.   :>

We buy from them at a decent cost, allowing us to sell on gigs.  They even
deliver to my door!

It's the ideal setup, as we are left completely on our own as for choosing
the material & doing the recording.  Better yet, in my setup, as it costs us
nothing since I have all the gear & no how!   :>  It's a huge job for me,
however, and therefore we only have 4 CD's recorded over the past 20 yrs.  I
keep putting off the next recording.....
