starting with C at 12 o'clock and then ascending clockwise through G, D,  A,
E and B to F# at 6 o'clock; then descending  anticlockwise>>

Hi all,
No wonder that there is `confussion`

You guys must have digital clocks. On my analogue clockface from 12 
everywhere is descending.
Its like being at the North Pole. Whichever way you go it is South.
