Hello all,

Following an extended visit to the USA for some research, the website has
been updated with the following items :

Millie Gaddini sends the WW1 Draft Registration Card for Lewis (Louis)
Armstrong, dated Thursday, 12th September 1918.

No sign yet of Jelly Roll's WW1 Draft Registration Card at locations where
he MIGHT have registered --- that is, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego
or Detroit. Other locations are being investigated.

Prof. Alan Wallace sends an article from The Washington Daily News, dated
Tuesday, 23rd June 1936, page 24, columns 1 - 2. The article contains the
complete banner headline :

Networks Will Air Sen. Barkley's Speech Tonight at 9

Coming soon, a transcription of a 1 hour radio broadcast from Los Angeles
c. 1950/51 with Bob Kirsten and Anita Gonzales.
