Hi All

1. Some 17 years ago when the family moved to Portugal, we saw a Jazz or variety show on TV. It was probably an import from the US. From memory, and I'm getting on a bit, across the front of the stage was a line of musicians, all black I seem to remember. One, a trumpet player was about 10 years old and he played a mean horn. He was doing a take off of Louis, with the handkerchief and clowning. Who was he, and is he still playing. And was he as good as I thought he was.

2. About 7/8 years ago,I bought, what I thought then, and still do, was a wonderful CD rom, entitled Robert Winter's 'Crazy for Ragtime' absolutely packed with information, history,Page after page of newspaper cuttings, sheet music and performances of about 50 ragtime classics. It won't play on a modern computer. Can anybody tell me if there is a way to play it again.
Did anybody else buy it and have faced the same problem.

3. And I know that this is a silly question, did anybody respond to the request for a jazzband to perform in India.....and ? OK I know.:>)
