I played the Conn 22B for a number of years before switching to a Keith
modified Selmer. A good middle of the line horn.
I started on a Conn Victor cornet but had to go to the 22B when I began
to work with big bands as leaders wanted the trumpet sound .
After the Selmer, I got and still have a Severasen Model Getzen trumpet
-- med-large bore -- that is a sweet horn. But for the past decade
I have gone full cycle and once again play the Victor Cornet as my main
noise maker.
But I can say that the 22B, if in ood shape, would be a very nice
trumpet to play.
