Ho Ho Ho,
Read the fine print, no fee to be paid
but an application fee to be paid by the performer.

Hey this is for all our Good Bandleader Friends downunder:
Queensland is having a big Industry conference and showcase of bands July
5-9
2005
They say they are accepting all genres of music.
You can bet there won't be any OKOM bands there unless one or more of you
guys try to get your act into it.
These can be a pain in the ARSE, putting up with all the rockers, and pop
wannabes and DJs that frequent these events trying to get discovered by some
BIG
TIME Record Deal :))
However if you can work or worm your way into the showcase, it is an
excellent way to reach that Jazz Oblivious audience that we are always
speaking about
that have all the money to support OKOM but just have no clue what or where
it
is.
Check it out guys, might just be worth you time at least once. But you
better be a pretty Hot Band if you try.
find them at: http://www.qmusic.com.au/bigsound2005/
Now go get some tattoos and chains, pierce your lip and nipples and swap
them
pink striped vests for leather ones and get up there and kick them punks
asses with some real music, Play it Loud they will love you.
Cheers,
Tom Wiggins
