How did the St Gabriel Celestial's do in the Sodom by the Bay Parade today?

Taking a leaf from Wiggins book, we are starting our 5 piece N.O. Band gig
tomorrow at the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City. 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Marching set-up though we play in a stationary location. Trumpet, Trombone,
Clarinet, Tuba and Snare drum. Yep, no chord instrument. There'll be lots of
horn harmony and a very N.O. Traditional feel with the New Orleans tunes.
Even some beads. :-) VBG.

Had a ball today handing out bead necklaces to very young children having
brunch with their parents at THE STRIPED BASS restaurant in Philadelphia.
One young mother was really cute as she said "Oh, thank you for the beads to
my little Mardi Gras Girl." Then she turned very red and said: : "I don't
really mean that she is a Mardi Gras girl, er, um, I,  er," as she kept
stammering. I laughed politely and said, "Would you like a necklace?" Then
we both cracked up.

Packed house, New Orleans Brunch for the 4th week in a row. Gee, maybe this
will become a Philadelphia tradition?
