But I don't "signify" with  offensive racial gestures with my cornet,
satirically or otherwise, while playing Darktown. Furthermore the
only eye rolling I do is when I try for a well-exposed, climactic high 
D and miss it.

And I wouldn't even get offended if a black band were to play.
"Swing Mr. Charlie" unless I saw a rope nearby.
