This reminds me of a NYE some years ago.  I got a job through another guy.
The drummer was terrible and when he got drunk it went down hill fast.  The
Piano player did the same.  The Guitar man was really and excellent player
of the old school (30's-40's) and knew every tune and all the changes.  I'll
never forget his expression.  He said "these guys are tearing my heart
ut"  -- mine too.  Well the guitar guy and I amused ourselves for 4 hours
and the people wanted us back the next year.  Hard to believe.
