That bit about ITFM (In the Freaking Mood) is G rated verson of what
one of the GMO band members told me about having to play the thing
night after night. The version that Jeff Tyzic (sp?) wrote for
Doc's "Tonight Show" band is a lot more fun to play.

One of the reasons for my renewed interest in OKOM (content here) is
because of a recent show we did with the big band and at one break we
featured the promoter of the show on Tuba. He hadn't played in years
but used to be a good OKOM player. I got him to practice up his
chops a bit and we brought our front line to the stage and featured
him on a few Dixie things. It had 'em up dancing and made me realize
that there definitely is a market if played right.
