[Dixielandjazz] Waltzes

How about “Vilia?”  Franz Lehar wrote it as a waltz (1907), but most jazz 
people seem to play it in 4.  The All Music Guide shows it to have been 
recorded by Chet Atkins, John Coltrane, Benny Golson, Guy Lombardo, Billy 
May, Glenn Miller, Ray Noble, Artie Shaw, Johnny Smith, and Lawrence Welk, 
among others.  And, though it doesn’t turn up on the All Music Guide, I have 
a 45 rpm single by Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen playing a very hot version.  
Nice tune.
