[Dixielandjazz] Jazz in 3/4 time

If anybody had told me that jazz could be played on an ocarina in waltz-time, I would certainly have twisted my index finger on my temple. Yet, a record that does just that is one of my favourite jazz records, viz. "Jug Band Waltz" by the Memphis Jug Band. It was recorded in Memphis, Tennessee on September 15, 1928 with Charlie Polk? Ocarina, Ben Ramey Kazoo, Will Shade? Guitar, and Hambone Lewis? Jug.
