You guys , I hope, will excuse me for asking something a little off Jazz.

When I was growing up in Fort Worth, Texas in the 1940-50s, Guy Lombardo and is Royal Canadians came to town each year for a concert. They were not as popular then, and not nearly as "Jazzy" as they had been years ago.

Anyway, I-being the senile senior that I am- woke up in the middle of the night thinking about a song that one of the group each year. I didn't think that I would ever forget it, because it was so funny.

I have looked everywhere I can think and can find no hint of it. Has anyone (if you are old enough) ever heard "The Chicken Song" (I Ain't Gonna Take it Settin' Down)? There were a couple of songs that I really thought were better than the rest of the show. It seemed that I had it on a 10" LP called "Enjoy Yourself", but I have tracked down a copy of that and still no song.

If anyone remembers it, the words that is, please let me know where I can find it or copy for me. I am having my 70th birthday mid-July and would think this would be a wonderful gift for this poor, senile, disable guy. My wife, who is four year younger than I have, thinks I have lost my mind. If she can't remember something, she blocks it out. I get jittery, and more senile

Thanks for listening to my tale of woe.
