[Dixielandjazz] jazz Bugle (was New Orleans 60+ years ago)

Gene Maurice, the leader of "And That's Jazz" was a sailor on an escort 
aircraft carrier in WW2 - he had his trumpet with him and played in a 
unofficial shipboard band. He told me that one Christmas morning, at 
0400 hours (4AM) he snuck onto the ship's intercom system and played 
the loudest, jazziest version of reveille ever heard.

Even though everybody knew who did it, the Captain did not punish him 
because it was Christmas, I guess...
