One typo in your liner notes. That should be Dayton, OH, not Drayton, 
OH. Dayton is north of Cincinnati. Carl is still living in this area and 
has been active in the LittleChicago Jazz Society and they host a few 
dates each year. Carl is also a very fine valve trombonist and in fact 
played on my horn when he sat in with us at a date in Cincinnati with 
the Sons of Bix. A very good player, indeed.
