Dear Ken Gates (and the list),

So, we do have to buy the black electronic box?  You borrowed your
converter from a friend?  I Googled and found a decent offer (I
think) of a DJ-quality turntable (I need one anyway) and the black
box with equalizer section for $218.00.  Claims to have all the pop,
scratch and hum filters.  Have you come across anything cheaper?
