[Dixielandjazz] Galvanized JB and Great CT Trad Jazz fest

Dear DJMLers

The Galvanized Jazz  Band of Guilford, CT opened what we hope is a long 
engagement at the Cedars at Millpond (formerly the River Run and the Millpond 
Tavern). They will be there every other Sunday from 6:00 to 8:30 P.M. continuing 
engagements there since 1971. Cedars at Millpond is on Rte. 17 just north of the 
center of Northford,  CT.  The Cedars is operating under a new and promising 
management.
 
The Galvanized JB (as trad jazz fans in CT know) produce great Dixieland and 
swing. Their program was super as always. Joining the regulars ware guests 
Noel Kaletsky and Jim Fryer and sit-ins Jeff Barnhart and  Danny Coots. Needless 
to say, the audience was very receptive.

Galvanized will be at the Great CT Traditional Jazz Festival next weekend 
(July 29-31), an event all you trad fans out there should not miss. For details -
