[Dixielandjazz] Jim Hubbard RIP

I regret to inform you that Jim Hubbard, leader of the Jasstown Revelators, 
of Sacramento/Stockton, CA, passed away this morning (Saturday Jan 15, 2005.

He took a fall on New Years Eve and went downhill from there. He was 
hospitalized, and diagnosed with an
inoperable tumor on his liver. He chose to return home.

Yesterday several local musicians went to the house to say goodbye, mostly 
to console Sherrie since Jim was heavily medicated. He appeared to be
resting well and pain free.

As of this morning services are not set.
