Greetings all,

I have just done an interview with Walter Love on his Jazz Club Show on BBC
Ulster. Walter played two tracks from our CD, Heah Me Talkin' - the Music of
Johnny Dodds - The John Wurr / John Petters Hot Four, with Chez Chesterman,
cornet, Martin Litton, piano and Annie Hawkins, bass. He picked the title
track, which has rarely been recorded since the Dodds session and Blues
Galore from the 1938 comeback session.

He also played Tishomingo Blues from my other new CD, An Evening with George
Webb & John Petters Hot Five, which was recorded live last year. George was
aged 86 at the time and still going strong. Considering his reputation as
the father of British Traditional Jazz, I was surprised when he told me that
this was his first recording since leaving the Humphrey Lyttelton band in
1951.

Anyway, anyone with enough curiosity can hear the show on

It will on the web tomorrow.

Review copies of the CDs are available for those with radio shows or
magazine columns - please e-mail me direct.

Full details of the CDs are on my web site
