[Dixielandjazz] Help for friend visiting New Orleans?

There should be quite a lot happening as Fat Tuesday is on Feb 8th this
year. Things really start happening 2 weeks before that, so it should
be very easy to find a lot of music and parties all over the place. It
will probably be harder to get reservations and everything gets really
crazy the last few days of Mardi Gras, but it will be really slow after
that during Lent (or so I am told - I have not ever been there at that
time.) Good time to check out the museums and other attractions.
