[Dixielandjazz] New jazz club in New Orleans

You'll be pleased to hear that there's a new jazz club in town --   Jack 
Maheu opened a place tonight at the corner of Claiborne and Canal, with  
traditional jazz 6  nights a week.
 
Tonight was the Press and Friends party, and the music was really  hot.  Jack 
had Charlie Miller and Bob Havens in the front line, and played  all of the 
usual classics.  The place was packed, and I just hope the  crowds will 
continue.
 
Best part -- it's nowhere near Bourbon Street!
