For all of you who are interested in sarrusaphones, contra-bassoons, 
heckelphones and other oddities of the music instrument world - there 
is a great website (and discussion list ) at www.contrabass.com   This 
list is mainly focused on wind instruments of a "lower" sort, but 
topics have ranged all over the field.

I am sure Pete would be able to find a sarrusaphone technician on that 
list.
