I have the he CD GHB label No. BCD-327 Ernie Carson and the Castle Jazz
Band - Every Man A King and will send you an MP3 off list. The liner
notes by Eric Holroyd say "I think it's by Irving Berlin..."
Unfortunately, the liner and CD omit the details of composers. I'll also
send you a scan of the cover with a picture of Ernie standing outside
what looks like a run-down Motel Unit. I'd tell you some stories about
sharing motel rooms with Ernie at some local festivals a few years back
but, won't for fear of a backlash if another thread of discussions on
Ernie gets going.
