News is that power is out. The French Quarter fared better than the rest of
N.O., but probably all will depend on whether the levies hold and the pumps
continue to work. Even if the French Quarter is not flooded, I would
imagine that most of the people employed there live in the flooded-out
areas. At this point all roads leading into and out of New Orleans are
closed.
