[Dixielandjazz] Quandary...

As a last resort, after "Googleing" for hours, I'm trying to find out who the composer was of Alligator Blues...the first tune on the recording the Bay City Jazz Band did in the '50's. Someone told me it was the same as Alligator Crawl, but I can find THAT one on the Internet, and they ain't the same! A lot of the same notes though...
Do any of you know?
