"And as far as I am concerned, ANY OKOM musician or bandleader that has
a consistent record of 160 -200 paid verifiable gigs a year has earned
the right to have it be about HIM. That after all folks is how the
Legends became legends, by working 200 paid gigs a year and more."
Tom, that is patent nonsense - legends became legends because of the special
quality of their music, not the number of paid gigs they played. A mediocre
musician playing 500 gigs a year might enrich his pockets but he remains
mediocre.
