Send me their names and addresses and phone numbers, and then heed the
words of the classic song:

"do nothing till you hear from ME" :))
Besides you have too many gigs to do and certainly don't want to wear
yourself out.
Agressive women, naw just women who know what they want and not afraid
to go take it. :))

ROTFLOL

Love it!

Subject: [Dixielandjazz] WHAT NOW?

I need advice from the Ann Landers of the DJML.

Last Saturday at Sydney's Jazz Restaurant in Rehoboth the band was
cooking.
I was in the middle of explaining why we old jazz musicians were the
great
lovers of the 20th Century. (tongue in cheek, part of our "connect", but
basically true if you were there at the time)

Mentioned Women's lib in the 60s and various books that were published
encouraging women to be aggressive and ask men out on dates, and have
one
nights stands of their own with men they fancied.

Adding that these books targeted Jazz Musicians in jazz clubs as ideal
prospects because we are:

Sensitive to women . . Lonely on the road . . Experimental . .
Uninhibited
. . . and only in town for a short while so once the women have had
their
way with us, there is no messy break-up cause we have left for a gig in
another town. Plus we jazz musos love aggressive women.

Before I was finished, a gal came up to the band stand and said in a
soft
but purposeful voice: Want to come home with me? Then she smiled and sat
back down while I broke up in mid sentence.

Today I got 3 different e-mails from women who were there, looked up our
website and want to hook up. One from Annapolis, one from Wash DC and
one
from Buffalo.

I don't remember who or how old they were or what they look like. What
should I do now??? Go on the road, or ask for photos???

Cheers,
Steve Barbone
