Didn't Willie The Lion write Fingerbuster and Morton wrote Fingerbreaker??

 Dear Bob,
OK! OK!
A test? Or a disguised trick question?
Young Australian Classical pianist Simon Tedeschi (and the Melbourne
Symphony Orchestra) recorded a CD album featuring a performance of American
composer Leroy Anderson's Piano Concerto 'The Waltzing Cat'.
In fact, this is the title of the CD.
On Sunday, 29 May 2005 this young pianist (well-known and much loved by
Society audiences as Australia¹s most colourful and talented young piano
star and raconteur) returns to the concert stage with a very special program
including his favourite jazz pieces such as Jelly Roll Morton¹s
"Fingerbuster", Gershwin¹s "Rhapsody in Blue" and popular pieces by Fats
Waller.
At previous concerts he has played jazz piano pieces including, as I recall,
JRM's "The Pearls". I believe that Sydney jazz pianist, my dear mate, Dick
Hughes, was partly responsible for encouraging Simon's interest in Morton
and Waller.
Simon and Sydney jazz (and classical) pianist Kevin Hunt have also teamed up
for live duet performances locally.
Listmate Anton Crouch is our DJML Classical Music expert and probably knows
a lot more about the jazz side and biography of young Simon. If anyone is
interested.
So there!!
Very kind regards,
Bill.
