This Sunday, May 1st, Ted Shafer's Jelly Roll Jazz Band is playing from 2-6 p.m. for the Alameda Jazz Society at the Alameda Elks Lodge Rathskeller, 2255 Santa Clara Ave., Alameda, CA.  The JRJB is a nine-piece, two-trumpet King Oliver/Lu Watters style jazz band.  Admission for Alameda Jazz Society members is $5.00, for other jazz club members $6.00, and for the general public $8.00.  We'd love to see you there--dancing or listening or, preferably, both.
