Personally, my feeling is that you can't compare contrasting styles, and 
you don't get more different than Prez and the Hawk. Cutting contests 
prove nothing other than letting the crowd get their fix. Furthermore, 
Prez and Hawk played together in Prez's family band(Run by his father) 
when they were kids, so I doubt seriously that one was suprised by the 
others playing.
