Oh there you are, Audrey.
Welcome back -- you've been absent too long.
You might like to know that they built a new timber brdige over part of the
Jordan River this year.
And the brook trout still swim near and take a Royal Coachman spent wing
with gusto.
Taste good, too! Close to your folks placve, I reckon.
Michigan Nighthawks will celebrate our 20th year of musical togetherness
this coming year.
Now if there a little more work around here, we'd really celebrate. Slow
here and in Chicago, too.
Hope things are better in D.C.
Had delightful get together with Max Morath, an old Colorado College frat
brother, in Duluth and we talked about great tunes that are so often
overlooked. I thought about your perusals at LOC, and how neat to have that
resource close by. Max is still playing wonderfully well, has a new CD
coming out soon, and his "Jonah Man" CD is a gem -- all Bert Williams tunes
with marvelous players backing him.
Greetings from North Michigan. Colors beginning to turn. Will be a leaf
peeper riot in the Jordan Valley in a couple weeks. Doesn't that make you
homesick?
Regards and nice to see your name back on the list.
Don Ingle
