Hello all

This is awful news. John R T not so long ago; now David. I was in touch
with him by email only last week.

His legacy is the Frog catalogue and perhaps his best (and commercially
bravest) issue is the complete Bessie Smiths, in good sound and with all
the alternative takes. I'm looking at it now - the spines of the 8 CDs form
a picture of a beaming Bessie.
