[Dixielandjazz] Acoustics at the Jazz Venues in Lincoln Center, NYC.

Just saw a 5 minute ABC Network News story on Lincoln Center, naming Wynton
Marsalis person of the week because of his work in Jazz at Lincoln Center
this week. Prime Time, National News, 6:50 PM Eastern Time, USA.

Among all of the pictures, and the music clips etc., there was a short
interview of him by Peter Jennings. When Jennings asked about the acoustics,
Marsalis said:

"This is the first time a concert venue has been specifically designed 100%
with proper acoustics in mind specifically for jazz." Etc., etc.

Well, of course, why would we ever doubt it? ;-) VBG

You may still get a chance to see it on the left coast.
