I read with interest the idea of an aluminum reed.  I personally have an
innovative idea that could lead to better health, especially among
clarinet players.

I'd like to seeGeneral Mills, Kellog and Post make reeds out of
compressed bran flakes.  Remember the story about Benny Goodman--when
they found him dead, there was a mountainous pile of clarinet reeds in
his apartment.  This is true of many reed men.  If we could save those
bran flaked reeds, we could every so often pour milk over thm and have a
nutritious breakfast.

Thus, Mr. TCASHWIG would be able to cut down on the road expenses for
his musicans, and at last give new meaning to the dependable regularity
of his sidemen.

Love it Harold,
What a Novel Idea.

I could also include free breakfast for the band if any of them would get up
early enough to eat it. :)) LOL,

Cheers,

Tom Wiggins
