Hi RaeAnn

I can remember many, many years ago an album
that knocked my socks off - their version of Grenada
is still one of my all time favs.

I like the traditional jazz classics, but also enjoy
non-trad tunes played in a dixieland style. As your daughter
has probably played some of the classics on oboe, she would probably
enjoy - The Salt City Six - "Plays the Classics", IMHO a great album
featuring a much younger Jack Maheu.

I think it is still available at:

Some of the tunes:

  William Tell Overture
  Grenada
  Ciribiribin
  New Orleans
  El Capitan
  So Pure (from Martha)
  Memphis Blues
  I Ain't Got Nobody
  Original Dixieland One-Step
  Shine
  Riverboat Shuffle
  Sleepy Time Down South
It's A Long Way To Tipperary
  None Of My Jelly Roll
