While all the Californians are off to Sacramento, here's a message for Uk
lurkers and anyone who might be planning their holidays.

June 5th  Harlem, an 11 piece Swing orchestra (playing music of Ellington
Fletcher Henderson etc.

Aug 6th.  Chris Burke (Clt) and  Les Muscutt (bjo)from New Orleans guesting
with Tony Davis (tpt), Paul Munnery(tbn), Spencer Chapman (bass), Perry Lock
(pno) and me on songs.

Both gigs will be in our village hall  at 8 pm. and tickets are £8.......

24th to 26th Sept jazz weekend at Bablockhythe.
